I want to up a vote for bringing back the longer "rating trend" graph than the current one of 50 games.
It has to be scalable though.

Try picking out one game on a mobile where the screen shows ALL games. Good luck getting the right one.

Make it so you can pick how many games to show.

good idea

This is a site modification worth doing. Russ, are you listening?

And when are those big wheels getting binned?

I really miss the ability to zoom out on the rating graph and see the long term trend!

Ditto. Tried to find my own highest-ever rating yesterday and simply couldn't. It's hard to find specific information on this site in a lot of places - I've been here for 8 years, been involved in several beta tests, and should know my way around. Yet probably 25% of the time the information I'm seeking is not available without a large amount of time and effort. That's just my own little nitpick, I'm not expecting anything to change, but I hate it when one of the few good research tools gets taken away.

i agree with getting rid of the wagon wheels.
Also, the enormous pieces on the analyze board screen just get in the way.
If they were smaller you could see the piece count which is below them without having to expand the screen

Dave, the pieces take on the same size of the pieces on the board size you have chosen.

Ok.I see the logic there.S'pose I'll have to keep increasing the screen size if I want to see the effect of piece exchanges in my analysis

I'm about to open up a beta for a new RHP release (Request beta club membership if interested). During the test period, I'll revisit the rating graph.

Just an update, I am still working on this. Early new year looks most likely right now due to disruption from the holidays.

The new graph code has just been released to the beta.

On a profile page, it looks as it did before, but there is an option to expand the graph, as shown below.

The graph will be as wide as the display used to display it - the example below is clearly quite narrow - but on most displays considerably more data will be shown. There is also a new option to overlay your own rating trend over the viewed rating, as illustrated.

Example graph

The new beta will be rolled out early on in the new year.
