...during the previous season.
The new season of the 14/21 clan league is ready to start, but a lot of players signed up don't even play here any more.
If there is a recruitment drive of some sort when season 1 is nearly finished, the teams submitted would be more accurate and up to date for season 2.
Another good reason for why RHP should have a news ticker on the my games page. 🙂 Thread 32271

Well we are reaching an interesting point in the clan leagues now, the 14 day is ready to go, and the 3 day has only two games remaining.
It's just a shame so many teams drop out in between seasons, it kind of defeats the point. Perhaps there should be a clause that teams will automatically be re-entered unless they are not enough willing clan members to give it a go.

What's probably needed is for each season to be a single, distinct event. Placings are allocated on a team average basis at the start of the season, so the top ten average rated teams are placed in division 1, etc.
That way, it'd defo be the fairest. As it stands now, a team could win season 1, division 1 with 6 2200+ players, and then in season 2, they'd be stuck in Division 1, even though they may only have 6 1000 players. It'd be more fun for everybody if teams were more closely matched, and I can't think of a solution apart from the above, considering players are constantly coming and going.
As an example, 26 teams have entered the new 14/21 season so far (I expect this to drop due to the number of players entered who don't play anymore, but that's irrelevant to this point). The Irish Brigade of the David Hassellhoff Fan Club has entered, and we are the 4th/5th strongest team to enter. BUT, we're going to be lumped into the bottom division. I don't think its realistic to expect the same 6 members to be around in 2-3 years time, when we'd finally be in the First Division, so basically, the divisions will never be an accurate rating of strength.
