There isn't a seperate button to save notes when it's your turn. The only way to do it is to hit "Submit Move", when you haven't selected a move.

More than once though, I unintentionally made a move when I intended just to save my notes.

Can we get a seperate button for this - to save notes when it's our turn, without using the same "submit move" button? Just like when, on the opponents turn you can "Save notes"?

I agree that the note saving function needs improvement. Closely related to this is the note to opponent window. I'd like to be able to send a message without sending a move. (I know I can pm, but this becomes cumbersome.)

Write in your notebook, DON'T move your piece. Click Submit Move. Terrible implementation, which was pointed out to Russ in Beta testing.

It really just needs the "Save Notebook Changes" link, like when it isn't your move.

In the Game screen, click on your opponents name, then in his profile, click "Message player", Send. 1 click more than if you did it in the Game page (Message Your opponent, Send)
