thread lengths!!

after continuousl trawling though threads trying to reach the most recent posts i realised it would be so much simpler if the newer posts were at the top of the pile on page1 rather than at the bottom on page 44 or whatever. is there a way to swap it round and if not, would it be able to implement a system like this Russ???

On the thread list page, click on the blue underlined date to the right of the thread title, under the last post heading, and all your problems will be solved.
