Finally, i've began reading books to better myself. A lot of lessons begin in the mid or pre-mid game.
I need a practice board that i can set up and begin with either black or white to move so that i can learn different strategies, attacks and defences.
so we already have this or can it be?

Go to new games and there is an option on there to set up your own board.
I've never tried it but I would imagine you can use the analyze board feature once you have set up a position without actually challenging anybody.

I wouldn't do that on a website. Get a viewer like chesspad or chessbase light and then you can save games and analysis.
