should we not be notified of poles taking place? what is the point of a poll that's meant to represent the site (i'm assuming it is meant to, in reference to the one about action being taken over engine users, as what is the point of it otherwise?) that very few people on the site know about?

Now correct me if i am wrong but everyone looks at their "MY GAMES" page. I think that a latest news ticker would work well at the top of the screen.
