Any concrete suggestion like a banner over the board or something?

@Ponderable
Maybe put it higher.

I fail to understand your problem

A damn great banner on the right asks you to either accept or decline the offer highlighted in red or green

Also, when you look at your games list, if a draw has been offered it is highlighted in the brightest blue known to man.

I have challenged you to a game and after the first move I will offer a draw,

please advise if you cannot see it

If you can still see a draw offer, then it's not too late.
What do you mean when you say, "you don't see a draw offer until it's too late?"
One can't see a draw offer after it's too late.

The guy is just looking at the board and nothing else.

Obviously he is just making his moves without looking at the board properly and realising a draw had been offered

For the life of me I cannot understand how he misses the big red and green draw offer/rejection. banner

Even if he/she/it is colour-blind; surely you can not miss the banner which clearly states accept or play on!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, The point I'm trying to make is: once someone has made a move after a draw offer, a draw offer is no longer able to be seen, or available; until the next move anyway. So how does one see a draw offer after it's to late? or after one has already made a move after a draw offer?
Does not make sense to me.

@KingDavid403

I TOTALLY agree with your comment and fully understand; you cannot know unless you move and your opponent questions you as to why you did not accept the draw offer

- hence my reply that the player is not looking at the board properly - if you miss the red/green banner saying accept/reject then I think a trip to the optometrist is in order.

Yes, I agree. He must have seen the draw offer as, or right after, he was pressing the move button; which is too late. 🙂

@KingDavid403
You can see it while the program buffers.

Yes, while you're pressing the move button, or right after; which is too late once it's pushed. Either way, 'look before you move' is the best remedy.

Perhaps it is just a case of the guy needing glasses? 😉
