Where are my updates?

I'm a bit limited on the general updates I can make right now due to the ongoing work on the site UI update - I'm trying to avoid duplicating work in two branches of the code outside of urgent fixes. That said, please don't stop posting here if you have ideas that you think could benefit the site. We do listen.
