Where you stand . . .

How about a general stats and graphs page:

1. the range and distribution of ratings on a bell curve
2. the total number of active players (it would make sense to only include players that have made more than a minimum number of moves or, maybe, that have completed at least one game)
3. The % of where you stand overall, again, just among active players

4. Why only show the highest rating in recent years? Why not the highest ever?

It's just a thought.

There is a Very good chance that the highest ever was a computer program.

I agree with number 4 my highest ever depended solely on other people’s mistakes and that may never happen again, it’s going to be a sad day when it’s slinks off my home page.
