I don’t agree of course, but I respect your right to believe your own version.

It’s really all about how we treat each other, isn’t it.

@diver You have that right. The world is going crazy and there are no filters anymore among anybody.
Glad to hear from you.....

Yes it does. But how does it say he will return?
Jesus needed to die in order to give his perfect human life as a ransom for us.
He once said this: “The bread that I shall give is my flesh in behalf of the life of the world.” (John 6:51)
Did he ever say he would come back later to be fleshly human again and walk on this earth?

The Bible does say this: "Christ returns in glory with all the angels, and that he ‘sits down on his glorious throne." (Matthew 25:31)

If Jesus were to come and sit as a man on an earthly throne, he would then be lower in station than the angels who are spirit beings.

And the bible says "he comes as the mightiest and most glorious of all these spirit sons of God", and he is therefore invisible, just as they are.—Philippians 2:8-11.
Also think about the way that Jesus left his apostles on his way to heaven. The Bible says: “While they were looking on, he was lifted up and a cloud caught him up from their vision.” (Acts 1:9) So when Jesus began going into the sky, a cloud hid him from the literal eyesight of his apostles. The departing Jesus, therefore, became invisible to them. They could not see him. It was in a spiritual body that he went to heaven. (1 Peter 3:18) The angels present on that occasion told the apostles: “This Jesus who was received up from you into the sky will come thus in the same manner as you have beheld him going into the sky.” (Acts 1:11) Christ’s return also would be invisible, in a spiritual body.

What a load of absolute nonsense. Do you have any shame to post that ?
Did you actually read the passages from the bible that says Jesus will return? Or maybe they were removed from your new version of the bible.

The angels said just like how you see Jesus leave, the same way you will see him return. THEY SAW HIM. Where the hell you got the idea they could not see Jesus.

The prophets said his feet will stand on Mt Olives.

Are you really going to accept false WatchTower teachings over the clear bible teachings? Stop being a false prophet.

Dive is back.

Its about how we treat others, and how we resist false teachings like what is going on right now.

@galveston75

I have 144,000 reasons not to be a JW.

I’m happy with arguments I’ve made in the past, but I’m not happy with how I made some of them.
At least not on these boards some of the time.

I know that feeling ... lol. Im more guilty than you are of that. But like in this case, just about everything Galveston tries to promote here, is contrary to clear bible teaching, and he will come here once every year or two and do the same thing.

I’ve said some things to you over the years which I’m not proud of.
I may have been right in my own mind, but how I pitched it was sometimes not born out of the best motivations.

I’m still the same person Sir, I still have many of the same opinions, but my attitude as to how I treat people when engaging has changed for a number of reasons.

Fair enough, and change for the better is always good.
Still, I hope all is well with you.

@Rajk999
Hey Rajk. Let me ask you an honest question. Take your time but in your opinion, why do you think Jesus would need to come back to earth as a human in flesh and blood?
