Which would you do?

Neither do I. I do however think that anyone with ground breaking scientific information would most likely publish it in a sci ...[text shortened]... o mine. I do not wish to share much more personal family details, but no, I am not that atheist.[/b]
I have two sisters who are Christian and have similar degrees to mine. I do not wish to share much more personal family details, but no, I am not that atheist.

You do not have to share a lot of personal details.

But I want to know if my recollection is accurate or not. Now I am not going to force you to write private stuff. But when I read this I believe it was you and it was shared in public on one of these threads.

Now if those two family members have higher degrees than you, for example Doctor's degrees, you PROBABLY ARE the Atheist who volunteered that info.

I am inclined to think my memory is accurate here. I bet it was you - twhitehead.

They have very similar first degrees to mine from the exact same university and all in the School of Natural Sciences.

I am inclined to think that it was me, but your memory is inaccurate and I said something more along the lines of 'they got better results at school than me' or something like that. I do recall mentioning them at some point, but don't remember exactly what I said.

None of the sources you quoted specifically said that facts are not true. They did however say that facts are true.
How many times must I say this: words can have more than one meaning. Live with it.

I note that you still haven't given a response to my Bible quote.

You may think they were saying what you want them to say but they weren't. You can end this now by quoting one of your sources in full that says a fact is not true. I have quoted your sources a number of times where they do say that a fact is true.
Sorry, but I do not do dictated responses. I note that in the other thread you failed to give a yes/no answer to a question as was dictated to you.

It remains that case that:
1. I didn't make the statement you claimed I made. (you were wrong)
2. I didn't contradict myself. (you were wrong).
3. Context matters (you were wrong).
4. I am more logical than you (you were wrong).
5. Stating that I am more logical than you isn't a sign of a big ego (you were wrong).
I could go on.

Thankyou for your assistance. But what I recall was the mentioning of doctor degrees.
I do not recall "better results" in school being phrased.

Maybe you volunteered this little biographical matter on more than one occasion.

No, I have no siblings with anything more than a first degree. Either you recall wrong, or it was someone else.

No, it isn't. A fact is something that is so. Facts aren't necessarily known, and facts are not 'true'.
Facts are bits of knowledge. So facts are necessarily known. I think you confuse the map with the terrain. .

You claim that facts are something that is "so", but that they are not "true". It's like you've invented your own language.

I know that. Repeating this over and over is not going to back up your claim that facts are not true. You are yet to provide one source that backs up your claim that facts are not true. All the sources provided (yours included) back up my claim that facts are true.

Agreed. It's like he just shoots randomly and whatever he hits he calls the target. That way he thinks that he never misses and he thinks he is always right.

I have provided two sources that agree with me. Have you read the thread?

In fact, my usage is the more common one, as demonstrated by this sentence.
I also ask you to consider the phrase 'fact finding'.

I am still waiting for a response to my Bible quote.

Lol all your sources say that facts are TRUE. Which means they agree with ME. You say facts are NOT TRUE. Which means your sources are contradicting you.

LOL. Fail. So you honestly think fact finding means finding things that are NOT TRUE?

More logical? Something is either logical or illogical. How do you measure more or less logical?

No, they do not. The fact that you don't know how to read a dictionary is on you.
