Seriously, is it "o" as in Wood, or "o" as in Flow?
It is pronounced "Who" "Dey".
Got it?
It is from American football, which is why you don't understand.
The team is called the Cincinnati Bengals. The term is used to mean this, "Who are they or (Whodey) think can beat them Bengals? The Bengals are an NFL franchize that used to be well run, making two close wins in a Super Bowl which is when the term "whodey" was coined. However, they were taken over by an incompotent and subsequently became the laughing stock, not just of the NFL, but all of professional sports. Now the Bengals have the longest absence of a playoff win in the play offs in the entire NFL.
They have been doing well of late, compared to their horrible track record since their owner Paul Brown died in 1990, but they are still regarded as a horrible organization.
The Bengals are rather symbolic for the way I view world politics. We are all rooting for our government, but they are run by greedy incompotents who's only interest is fleecing us while trying to keep "hope alive" at the same time.
I stopped drinking the "Whodey" coolaide long ago, much like I've stopped drinking the political coolaide they try to force feed us every year. Those that still drink the coolaide are rather amusing to me. That includes Bengal fans as well as partisan hacks.
