On the whole I think Moses did a good job in keeping God down to just 10
but he could have got adultery removed.

The ego makes one selfish. That is why the ego must be stampped out through strick Buddhest discipline. Only then will True Enlightenment be had. The Kingdom of Heaven is within you. Some Yogic prctices can bring about ego reduction. You should consider trying to look beyond the Christian idea only.
