If God is indeed the creator of all life, and created all the lovely birds and butterflies, then He is also the creator of the less appealing life forms.
I present to you the Zombie parasite who's sole purpose is to infect the brain of an ant and control it enough to have it climb a tree, whereupon a spore shoots out of its head to drop spores of its own to the ground below, to infect other ants.
Did an omniscient and all loving God really design such a thing? - Or is this just an indication that evolution, void of morality and kindness, is the true creator?
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidYou don’t think it may have a niche in life?

God may love all things, but not sure it's equally. Some bugs or insects are driven or climb the top of trees, in a mating ritual process, after which they jump to death. Something closely resembling the parasitic species. Sorry, I can't count tab with the votes against which would rather I not post sporadically and I haven't researched thoroughly. I protest, you have just the sample of a robust study, not a census of the whole population+
Apol. Thou hast done in this, according to the Proverb, changed a bad for a worse: but it is ordinary for those that have professed themselves his Servants, after a while to give him the slip, and return again to me: do thou so to, and all shall be well.
Chr. I have given him my faith, and sworn my Allegiance to him; how then can I go back from this, and not be hanged as a ‘Traitor ? (The Pilgrim's Progress, Bunyan)

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidGod made everything; the only thing God did not make is Himself, since He always was, is, and will be.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidThe teaching that God is all-loving like what you describe is not in the bible. That is the fiction taught by churches. The bible has a whole load of stories that makes you wonder if God really instructed that these things should happen. Im pretty sure the universe is full of lots of even weirder creatures.

God is capable of love, hate and a whole load of other emotions.
@KellyJay saidDoesn't it trouble you that he took the time to design a parasite that takes over an ant's brain?

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidHe made a lion that eats deer.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidWho wrote "All Things Bright and Beautiful"?
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things cruel and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.
Each little flower that opens,
Each brain eating parasite that sings,
He made their glowing colours,
He made their tiny wings....

This month we're sharing the story behind All things bright and beautiful. This text, by Mrs. Cecil Frances Alexander, was first published in her Hymns for Little Children (1848). It is one of several hymns which she wrote to interpret phrases of the Apostles' Creed in language that children could understand. Oct 6, 2022

@KellyJay saidA lion eating a deer is more in keeping with evolution, survival of the fittest, than by divine design. (And even more so for a brain eating parasite).
And what is your question?
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidNot sure where you are getting your this is acceptable and that isn’t when God creates.
