As a 'decent' atheist, I don't begrudge or judge somebody who follows a particular religion, if they draw personal benefit from it and don't cause harm to others in the process.

We don't need religion for people to fight and kill each other, it'll happen anyway. Religion is just used as an excuse, the simple fact is that people fear what is different to them and when there's fear there's often reactions.

@KellyJay ; In regard to Roman catholic church which force the public to believe in the philosophy of the church,they use the worst system of tortures, which you don't want to know.The inquisition,and suppressions of anyone disobeying the church was unlimited. And that lasted aprox. 1000 years. Apparently your knowledge of Europe history is limited or you don't want to know.
