All true believers seek truth as they see it.
Truth seekers want to truth not their own preconceived notions. Which is why those like caissad4 will never move beyond their preconceived ideas and prejudices. If truth was the real goal they would have to be willing to have everything challenged and let the chips fall where they will.

That must be the way you operate.
What the hell is a "true believer" ? Must be a Christian thing.
I seek the truth and am willing to entertain other possibilities. When one is proven wrong it is an opportunity to enhance understanding.

There are lots of true believers of all kinds, including Christians, Muslims, Hindus and atheists

Really !
Tell me about Moses, Exodus and Noah and the Flood. (truth please)
All are proven to be myths.
Remember that belief is NOT necessarily truth.

Proven is in the eye of the beholder.

Wait, wait. Are you saying that an absence of a belief is a belief ?
Must be a belief like "I believe I will have a beer", lol.

Proven is in the eye of the beholder.
So if you look out your window and believe you just saw a T-Rex walking down the street you would now believe that there are dinosaurs in your neighborhood.

Even if no one else saw this and there was no physical evidence ?
There is a fine line between belief and total delusion.

You claim they are myths, remember beliefs are not necessarily truth.

If truth is agreeing with you, your right.

Do you not have preconceived ideas and prejudice too?

And yet you simply stop talking to members of this community who challenge your beliefs. You stopped talking to twhitehead for a time - he challenged your beliefs. You stopped talking to Rajk999 for a time - he challenged your beliefs. You stopped talking to divegeester for a time - he challenged your beliefs. You stopped talking to ThinkOfOne for a time - he challenged your beliefs. You stopped talking to ProperKnob for a time - he challenged your beliefs. You stopped talking to Wolfgang59 for a time - he challenged your beliefs. You stopped talking to karoly aczel for a time - he challenged your beliefs. You stopped talking to stellspalfie for a time - he challenged your beliefs. I think you may have stopped talking to BigDogProblem for a time some while back - he challenged your beliefs. How did the "chips fall" in those cases?

2 Corinthians 5:7:

"We walk by faith, not by sight".

In other words, Christians live based on their beliefs, not by what they can observe. This is antithetical to science and reason.
