Are RHP atheists preventing "salvation"?

So, I understand that you are saying you're evil. You have described yourself as evil in the past too.

PB1002 said on page 7 that you are NOT evil.

Is he mistaken?
I think any Christian - after accepting and believing in Jesus Christ and in His Resurrection and after receiving God’s Holy Spirit indwelling him - who calls himself “evil” is committing blasphemy.

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”

(1 John 4:17)

The last 10 words of that verse are very important, but there are many others like it.

If Jesus is true, faithful, and the Son of God, anyone who comes to Him can be saved.
I'm not sure what you mean about 'despite being evil' as you are aware we are all sinners in need of a savior. Only God, our Savior, can forgive our sins!
"Despite being evil" means you concede that you are evil [and you believe I am evil too], and although we are both evil, you believe you will be "saved" while I face "damnation. "Despite being evil", in THAT sense.

We are all sinners, condemned already before God, fallen short, not good, evil as our sinful hearts are deceptively wicked.
Is PB1003 right to say that any Christian who calls himself “evil” ~ as you do ~ "is committing blasphemy"?

For God so loved the world...you have seen the world, right? Do you think the word good applies to you or me by what scale do you use to measure anyone? How many times are you going to ask the same question?

I seem to remember that you church Christians post ad nauseum that a man is justified by Grace through faith, and not any other way.

How can a man be justified by words. Seems like Jesus was not a church Christian
By your works doctrine, does anyone stop sinning in that belief system? If not, do they sin any ole way they want, knowing if they work hard enough, they are good with God?

I don't know. How many more times are you going to pretend that you are not an OSAS Christian?

I am not an evil man, KellyJay. And I have no reason to think you are.

So just to be unequivocal, you are definitely "saved" despite being evil because ~ you believe ~ what Jesus said is true?

I hate to butt into a conversation I’m not a part of, but since my name got brought up, I don’t think it’s inappropriate.

How any Christian can view himself or herself as evil after they’ve had all of their sins forgiven by the blood of Jesus Christ and after they have received Jesus Christ’s righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21) and the indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit is honestly beyond me.

Am I perfect? Obviously not. No Christian is. No human being is.

But am I evil? No way.

For a Christian to say he or she is evil is to completely dishonor what Jesus Christ did on the cross to cleanse them of their sins and give them His righteousness, and it insults God’s indwelling Holy Spirit as well.

What do these verses say? Do these verses say Christians are evil?

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”

(1 John 4:17)

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

(2 Corinthians 5:21)

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”

(1 Corinthians 3:16)

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

(1 John 4:4)

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

(2 Corinthians 5:17)

I think the reason many Christians are not living victorious lives (I am not referring to anybody with this opinion) is because they do not realize their identity in Jesus Christ!

You inserted yourself into the conversation at the top of page 10 when you asserted that KellyJay "is committing blasphemy".

PB1022 would like to see Scripture that says Christians are evil.

I believe I was referenced in this conversation earlier but may be mistaken.

Ask KellyJay for it. I don't think he is evil.
