ways. So name the topic ...death, broken lives, and so all belong to them
like every happy song that doesn't have gods or God in them.

A little tune called "Atheists Don't Have No Songs"
[Lyrics]
(Christians have)
Christians have their hymns and pages.
(Hymns and pages)
Hava Nagila's for the Jews.
(For the Jews)
Baptists have the rock of ages.
(Rock of ages)
Atheists just sing the blues.
(Romantics play)
Romantics play Claire de Lune.
(Claire de Lune)
Born agains sing He is risen.
But no one ever wrote a tune.
(Wrote a tune)
For godless existentialism.
(For godless existentialism)
For Atheists,
There's no good news.
They'll never sing,
A song of faith.
In their songs,
They have a rule.
The "he" is always lowercase.
The "he" is always lowercase.
(Some folks sing)
Some folks sing a Bach cantata.
(Bach cantata)
Lutherans get Christmas trees.
Atheist songs add up to nada.
(Up to nada)
But they do have Sundays free.
(Have Sundays free)
(Pentecostals sing)
Pentecostals sing, sing to heaven,
(Sing to heaven)
Gothics had the books of scrolls,
(Numerologists count)
Numerologists count, count to seven,
(Count to seven)
Atheists have rock and roll.
For Atheists,
There's no good news.
They'll never sing,
A song of faith.
In their songs,
They have a rule.
The "he" is always lowercase.
The "he" is always lowercase.

Its interesting how there was a whole thread on this forum with theists trying desperately to tell us atheists that our atheism defines us, with us denying it and basically saying that our atheism is merely a lack of belief in God, not a religion of our own.
I think the fact that atheists do not have specifically atheist songs proves our side of that discussion.
On a side note, I heard my son playing a song earlier in which there is the phrase 'Thats me in the corner, that's me in the spotlight, loosing my religion'.

How bout this one, Eileen McGann "Wisdom Guide me'
She has a better recorded version but this one is live from a house concert, Canadian singer songwriter.
Notice it isn't GOD be my guide but a human attribute.
Here is her myspace version, when I went there there was a stupid Paul McCartney song going, hope you can get around that:
https://myspace.com/eileenmcgann/music/song/wisdom-guide-me-17948757-17749942
In the first version of the song, she is more or less in drop d tuning but in the second, it's a bit higher, maybe just the way she tuned the guitar or maybe with a capo on the first fret doing a drop d tuning. It makes a nice guitar fingerpicking tune BTW. I really love this song.
I guess she didn't have a snark...

I've been playing it here and there for twenty years, so I should have some idea.
