@divegeester
Now we turn the question to you.
Why are you not running through the streets yelling frantically "It doesn't exist"?
If you're an evangelist for informing the world that Jesus Christ was lying where best is your time spent?
@sonship saidWhat would be the point? Should I run up and down the street in which I live yelling frantically that the lava isn't coming, the volcano hasn't erupted, and my neighbours are not all going to die horribly?

-Removed-One good thing I like about this medium is that people can look up ALL the posts one has written. One can go though their profile and post by post to see just what a poster has written about.
I trust that anyone wanting to see what sonship talked about will get a wide range of issues dealing with not just one aspect of the Gospel but from many sides. Your caricature of me is one sided honing in on what you dislike the most about the New Testament.
The Lord knows I have been balanced, more all-encompassing, more all-inclusive elaborating and defending, yes, both the kindness and the severity of God.
What I do when not here on this Forum is known by the Lord Jesus and by some whom I contact for the same purpose - present to them a glorious and available living Christ.
Anyone can go through the thread titles started by me over the years and see YOUR caricature of what I do is just your super sensitivity to those things you dislike about the whole revelation of Christ
I’m not interested in your appeals to your own sanctimoniousness.
But everyone should be interested in your appeals to yours? They should be interested that God needs to sit at your (more pious than God) feet and learn about righteousness in judgment?
What I am asking you now is not intended to be a checkmate question. I really would like to know what you think.
1.) If God is the Creator then all other beings are His created CREATURES. Do you agree with this?
2.) How is it that a created one could possess a greater degree of perfection in any sense then the One who is its Creator?
IF God didn't have a greater sense of righteousness to GIVE, to bestow, how could any created life of itself possess such, that it was in the position to correct God?
@sonship saidYour answer I want Divegeester.

The rich man in Luke 16:19-31 said while he was in torment in Hades:
" Then I ask you, Father [Abraham], to send him [Lazarus] to the house of my father - For I have five brothers - so that he may solemnly testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment." (v.27,28)
What do you think Divegeester?
Did the rich man wanted his brothers to "avoid worrying about eternal
punishment"?
Or did he want them to NOT "avoid worrying about eternal punishment"?
I think the rich man was concerned that not come to the same fate he was in. He wanted them rather to take God's judgment after death seriously, heeding someone who might come to them from the realm of death, like Lazarus to testify.
We have Jesus Christ to solemnly testify safety can be secure in Him and in the word of God.

I think the rich man in Hades wanted his five brothers to take seriously God's ability to pass judgment upon sinners after their physical demise.
I agree that we should avoid worrying. And we should avoid anxiety about eternal punishment. BUT HOW?
In the account here Christ's message is by listening to the Scriptures.
And by strong implication heeding Himself who was the man rising from the
dead after accomplishing eternal redemption.
The point of this post is - YES, avoid worrying about eternal punishment! Yes, by resting in Christ as the Scriptures have taught.
Yes avoidance of anxiety by saying "Lord Jesus, I belong to You Lord, forever. Thankyou Lord Jesus My Savior, My Lord, My Redeemer, My God."
