I like it much better than the Saint Nicholas to Santa Claus story.

That I don't believe in the possibility of a divine birth? Er, then I guess every atheist/Hindu/Buddhist/whatever else are all bit daft then, huh? How many of the population is that? Good thing we have Christians to show us all the way 🙄

The thing that I get most lulz from Christian is the fact that you have so many branches and you all disagree on things. One of my best friends is a Quaker, the way he talks about Presbyterian Protestants is hilarious.

I don't think the story of Jesus us entirely fictional but can you imagine if someone claimed that happened to them today? They'd be laughed at like the people claiming to have been abducted by aliens.

And they'd be right to do so "today". God's been "done" with us for a while, now. We won't be seeing any real prophets any more, and probably very few virgins over 20, either. We're just basically waiting for Satan to get his s**t together for the final push against Man. And that includes waiting for things to get soooo bad that the AntiChrist will look like a savior.

That probably depends on what you call unicorns.

I am impressed with how careful a historian Luke was in his journalistic research of the events.

    Well no they don't.

Because if they did they wouldn't believe it.

People are brought up being told that these 'events' happened and thus it seems
    perfectly normal.
It's everyone else's religions and beliefs that seem weird.

'Some of' the best take downs of other religions, have been done by Christians...
who for some reason then fail to apply the same logic, reason, and scrutiny to their
    own religion.

Also as a side note. There was a recent news story about the fact that about 1 in 200
women claim that they never had sex before they became pregnant.
Based on findings in the BMJ.

    http://www.slate.com/blogs/xx_factor/2013/12/18/_virgin_births_1_in_200_pregnant_women_claim_they_didn_t_have_sex.html

So CLAIMS of virgin births are actually remarkably common. 😉
