Maybe he's revisiting it to see if anyone's story has changed.

Maybe this time the really stupid comments can be held to a minimum.

Nah... probably not.

If Mary was a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus, we have proof that abstinence is not a fool proof method of birth control!
Mary agreed to be impregnated by the Holy Spirit so there is no
abstinence here.

Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in
Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was
Joseph, of the descendants of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
And coming in, he said to her, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with
you.” But she was very perplexed at this statement, and kept pondering
what kind of salutation this was. The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid,
Mary; for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in
your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. He will be great
and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him
the throne of His father David; and He will reign over the house of Jacob
forever, and His kingdom will have no end.” Mary said to the angel, “How
can this be, since I am a virgin?” The angel answered and said to her, “The
Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will
overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son
of God. And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son
in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month.
For nothing will be impossible with God.” And Mary said, “Behold, the
bondslave of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” And
the angel departed from her. (Luke 1:26-38 NASB)

P.S. A woman today can be impregnated without having sexual relations
with a man. Doctors have done it many times with women wanting to
become pregnant and have a baby.

I don't think it is cloning.

I have always found it interesting how many theists think they own God.

What's interesting is the sheer amount of people who believe God was made in man's image. Christian or not. Arrogance is not limited to one group, it seems.

Arrogance in itself is not good enough to refute someone's view.
(I know this is off topic, but I would just like to point this out now, for some 'godly' reason )

Every theist owns God. As I pointed out in one of my earlier posts to you, unless you have developed a working relationship with God, as a friend, or as a lover, or as a master, or as a confidant, or as an object of formal worship or as an object of singing prayers or an object of obeisance, you cannot say you believe in God.

I do not say I believe in God.

But if I insult God in some way, the only reason why you would get offended and see it as a personal slight to you, would be if you think God was your own invention.

I am very arrogant when it comes to the subject of God. As a Christian,
I see an insult to God as also an insult to me. This is not because I own
God or invented Him, but because I believe I am created in His image and
He owns me.

No,no. God is not my invention and that is not why I will get offended. I will , in fact, get concerned about you as a fellow human and a friend, who is so much taken in by atheism that he has started insulting God.

Well then you are very different from sumydid, who gets offended as if he owns God. He said ' ... you reduce my God ...'. He didn't say 'you reduce God', or 'you reduce our God'. He clearly took it as a personal offence and as a result did not want to talk to the offender any more.

Blasphemy is a victimless crime.
