All this is fluff and nebulas. Here is the point. Homosexuality was condemned in the bible thousands of years ago by God. Mankind only just discovering DNA technology cannot possibly change the laws of God, with the claim that they are "born this way". Gay people who are riding this horse thinking they have found al loophole are fools. Since when is that a valid excuse for ...[text shortened]... t care? The Christian who commits sin will stand before God and account for his sins. End of story.
I’m an agnostic and I think it’s important to challenge christians on these issues because the beliefs you have often get turned into political slogans of hate and oppression.
Amply evidenced by your recent attempt to draw a comparison between homosexuality and paedophilic assaults on children.

I have a feeling that @rajk999 is really only posing as an extreme American political Christian in order to undermine people who actually believe and talk that way.

But in the year of Marjorie Taylor Greene he/she/they might be floundering for influence and relevance. 😉

There must be a point when not everything one reads in the Bible can be true, despite the desire to push aside all reason and human nature, and just declare it a sin. (And how easy it is, for a heterosexual, to do so with regards to being gay)
You should hear what they say about this up and down just our arm of the Milky Way (no idea about the rest of our galaxy, but I really don't get around much).

But to be fair, the comments are from species that are pretty much at our level at this moment in time, and what could they know?

Others still extant are either occupied with transcendence issues, or have gotten through those but pity us too much to make jokes, which I take as a hint to go slow in my own evolutionary journey.

Does anyone feel that if a person is attracted to the same sex, that they were born that way? And if so, how can God condem such a person if He, in fact, created them?

There must be a point when not everything one reads in the Bible can be true, despite the desire to push aside all reason and human nature, and just declare it a sin. (And how easy it is, for a heterosexual ...[text shortened]... the Bible literally, on all debatable topics, would mean that slavery should be okay. (For example)
One last effort to ask:

Are people born attracted to the same sex?

If yes, God cannot condemn them to hell, because He created them that way.

You should re-think that statement.

You hide behind your false Christianity.

I will NO longer let you get away with it.
