Who among us could stand to watch anyone burn in agony ? No matter how bad the person was. Let's say Hitler for example. I could not stand to watch any other human be in constant torment regardless of the crime. Just on a simple human level I feel most feel the same way. Only a sadist could conduct such punishment. Maybe the Christian version of Hell needs to be updated. Instead of Burning in the Lake of Fire, how about being forced to watch the 700 Club for an eternity. Maybe that's over the top also. Anything but the Burning forever thing would be and improvement.

Do you not see that's exactly why they use the idea of Hell to convince you that their way is better?

That's the beautiful part about it. Without the torture and the demons Christianity would have very little to offer.

There is no such truth as what is normal and what is not. Nomal is a matter of opinion, and there are over 6 billion definitions of normal if that is what the world population is.
