The body and brain are dull matter or dust in the wind, and the mind is a subtle element that is actually an all pervading mental energy that pervades the dull matter called the brain.
We are not our mind, but we use the mind as a tool, and mind exists outside of the body as well...........its like ether its all pervading and travels through the ether.
The soul is a little piece of God or spiritual energy, that has attributes of identity, consciousness, awareness, cognition, knowledge, intelligence and bliss and is eternal like God self.
The soul is you and is also God, just like the sun ray is the sun and cannot be separated from the sun, but we dont say the sun ray IS the sun.
The body and mind will not function without the presence of the soul.....just like your computer will not function without the power supply.
In fact without the presence of the soul, the body will decay away to dust.
The soul will not stay within the body if it is too badly damaged, through the event of severe trauma (car accident)

-Removed-And once again I will repeat this:
There is no one so blind, as the person who refuses to see.
And the madness disease of atheism, is a direct cause of this.
Attain spiritual knowledge and you will be able to see and understand everything, like all persons on the spiritual path.
Spiritual knowledge is free and its there for the taking.......but who is taking?
