Nope , your context is completely wrong. The quote is in reference to faith and was referring to ordinary people and ordinary lives not some far fetched abstract philosophical concept about logic.

The answer to this question is yes - but he would have to choose not to lift it. He would be restricted by his own choice and will.

It's a paradoxical question my friend, meaning that you cannot answer this question yes or no.

It's like this: You have all the power to make everything possible, but can you make the impossible possible?

If you can make everything possible why cannot you make the impossible possible?

It is where your brain zeroes itself.

You seem to forget that if everything is possible for you it means that nothing is impossible for you.

Then why can't God lift the impossible rock that he made with his own hands?

There is no such thing as an 'impossible rock' for God since he can do all things.

So god cannot create something impossible.

He sure can create a rock that is imposssible for you to move.

Nope, since by definition God can do all things, it means he can do all things, which is the same as saying that there is nothing which God cannot do, which is the same as saying God can do all things.
