Homophobia, like racism and misogyny and other forms of prejudice, IS rooted in irrational hate and IS immoral. It's about as far from TRUTH as can be.
I am sure that is what you believe, but neing of Satan how can you do anything but lie?

Evidently Eladar thinks that HIS interpretation of the Bible is correct simply because he believes it is correct. Therefore, any differing interpretation is "of Satan" and a "lie".

Unfortunately this is the level of thought at which all too many Christians operate.

The fact is any interpretation that's not "according to the truth" of the gospel is a lie.

John 17:17b
...thy word is truth.

God's Word is truth. Not "the" truth, but "truth".

Not open to private interpretation.

The gospel preached by Jesus while He walked the Earth is THE gospel and is what He would have had in mind in John 17:17.

Of course!

I could quote a load of scripture right now to support the idea that the gospel is contained throughout scripture, and not just in the 'red letter' edition.

How much of it is consists of the words spoken by Jesus while He preached His gospel?
