So then you are an agnostic ..
I am an agnostic atheist. See my 2nd post on page 1.

@FMF

I'd describe them as subjective personal opinions resulting from speculation about matters that are more or less immune to empirical scrutiny.

If God is is a "personal opinion resulting from speculation that are more or less immune to empirical scrutiny" then you leave open the possibility that God does exist. It is just not worth your tim ...[text shortened]... f that MAYBE Someone "more or less immune to empirical scrutiny" could exist.

Agnosticism.
You seem to hold the quite ignorant opinion that an agnostic or even an atheist would not examine any claim that might show the existence of a god or gods .
I am a non-theist but would be willing to examine evidence of the existence any mythological entities . There is only one absolute in the universe and that is that there is only one absolute in the universe .
Refusal to honestly examine evidence which may contradict ones' beliefs is more a trait of religious literalists than non-theists .
Most Christians do not even know that Satanists are atheists ( they really are ) .

I have a few questions for those who have the guts to claim to be Atheists.

1.) Is the "Lack Of Belief in God" retained in Agnosticism?

When an Atheist who lacks belief in God or gods, decides that there MAY BE or COULD BE or PERHAPS but can't prove God or gods.

does that Atheist lose his lack of belief in God or gods?

2.) Is the Agnost ...[text shortened]... /b] a total lack of belief in God or gods and a partial lack of belief in God or gods?
Why does it require guts to say I don't believe in God? What a peculiar thing to say.

Do I also require guts to say I don't believe in the tooth fairy?! Or do you really believe the fire and brimstone threats of something I find thoroughly ridiculous has any sway on me?

there are a lot of closet atheists
I think it does take some courage

The term "atheist" is attached to a range of stances about supernatural beings. Perhaps you need some "courage" to acknowledge this instead of just being fatuous?

I think Richard Dawkins sounded pretty stupid too when he said more or less the same thing.

I think Dawkins is much smarter than you
but I don't know you
I could be wrong

I got a better question: If God actually landed in London or Washington or Moscow tomorrow morning, how would you know it's God? If this foreign visitor said, "Hello my children, I am your God and you may worship me now." - Would you believe him? What if he gave an amazing demonstration of military strength, or dazzled you with technological marvels? Would you be convinced? And how would you know he's not just some alien joker, or a sociopath that came to enslave you all?

It was just something controversial he put in the God delusion to attract attention and to nail his "explicit atheist" underpants to his book's mast. Accept or revere his beliefs because of how smart you think he is if that floats your boat or if you reckon it gives you "balls".

Lacking belief in God and believing there is no God are different positions. Am I showing "balls" by pointing this out to you?
Position 1 > Lacking belief in God. Infers a knowledge of the existence of God, but lacks faith in God relative to the preeminence of God.

Position 2 > Believing there is no God. Infers omniscience.

Your "position" seems to be 'knee deep in something akin to word salad'.
