How do you know that your conscience has anything to do with god?

2. I mean do you think stealing is wrong?
Yes, why do you ask?[/b]
1. God gave it to you for your own good.
2. You said you don't Believe in morality.

If you have some argument that aims to show that, on the contrary, the existence of God ought to be a part of our explanation for moral faculty, then let's hear it.[/b]
All morality comes from God.

I think that many things come from God, like our nature and limitations, of course none of us would exist if God didn't.

I asked you how you knew that your conscience has anything to do with god. You have not answered that question. Could you answer it please?

2. You said you don't Believe in morality.
Please point to where I said this or kindly withdraw your claim that I said I don't believe in morality.

1. If all morality comes from God, then so must your conscience.
2. I was talking to Andrew Hamilton.

twhitehead,

When "the concept of continuity" was mentioned to you, I think what was meant was the principle of the uniformity of nature.

I'm sure you are familiar with the argument that this must be accepted without justification in order for the scientific enterprise to continue.

I asked you how you knew that morality comes from god. So I'll ask you politely again to anser that question. Could you do that please?

2. I was talking to Andrew Hamilton.
Why did you talk to Andrew Hamilton as part of a numbered reply to me? Will you admit that you are in error here? I think you owe me an apology.

Believing in evolution is like believing in the moon. It's a fact.

Even the Vatican recognises evolution now.

The moon can be seen, it's not a fact.

The Vatican what's the Vatican? The building? The council? The people? Vatican 2 (the council) was not dogmatic, it had some sentences that wasn't very clear, therefore some people thought it meant some things it didn't.

Evolution is not a fact because you've read, digested and refuted all the scientific papers reagrding it over the last 150yrs?

Or because it contradicts your Christian faith?

Vatican, meaning Catholic Church.

Then you Believe in Evolution?

Isn't that a question you should ask the next poster?

But before you do that, maybe you should answer the question I have asked you?
