Not when I make them. Glad I'm not a "religionist."

How have you come to this conclusions?!

Some believe 6000 years ago and some 4.6 billion years ago.

The information gathered through the scientific method tells us 4.6 billion years, only the religiously deluded believe 6000 years.

I believe in the 6000 yea ...[text shortened]... placed or raptured?

Personally, i like to understand the universe and my place within it.[/b]
Except you really do not understand the universe or your place in it, what you
do is come up with some ideas on what you think is true. You look at what is
around you and come up with conclusions, they maybe true or not, it is all the
same if your conclusions cannot proven right or wrong either way.

edit. It was probably a nine-year-old boy, not a girl, but then nobody saw that either.

...and the mead of the flatter and the shame don't matter, were you there?
A 9-year-old boy named Emma? Maybe the OP was trying to save the lad's reputation by referring to him as a girl.

Ah, saying 'THE atheists', a pejorative, like 'you can always tell about THE Jews'.

Another vote for tolerance.

Sorry Kelly, anyone who thinks that humans coexisted with dinosaurs (but it's ok as God made all the dinosaurs vegetarians to start with) cannot seriously go around telling people what they do and what they don't understand about the universe.

Not really. Sorry. You have got the wrong end of the stick. Pretty much all the vocal atheists on this forum are from the "How do you know that?" school of thought and not the "Were you there?" one.

Brandishing certain "holy" books that you say trump "holy" books from other traditions, you claim to know what "God's instructions" are, and how following them will make you live forever. You, sir, are a religionist of the highest dictionary definition order.

Tolerance?

Like you show when you are on the warpath against THE "religionists"?

You got a lot of hate for someone preaching tolerance.

It doesn't matter what my views are as far as the universe is concern, nothing
I believe means what you BELIEVE is true or false. The bottom line is if you
cannot prove right or wrong your views, they are just views nothing more.
