No, it is merely a translative categorisation of the perfectly natural process of setting one's life in order. No evidence of the supernatural.

So do you know any atheists that have been set free from sin?

dj2 you make it incredibly hard for me not to insult you.

Atheists do not believe in god, as such they do not believe in the divine concept of sin. Therefore they can not be set free of it, since they do not believe in it, as Bosse pointed out to you already. Read and cogitate, then answer, please.

Show me anybody that was not born in sin.

Show somebody that has never lied or gotten angry or had a lustful thought ever.

If you can do that, then you have a point.

I can't show you that because you see sin everywhere you look.

Anger & lust are natural emotions, possibly destructive, but susceptible to transformation into more positive channels.

A lie is an act based in most cases on fear, another emotion.

I agree that people have emotions which can enslave them, but they can disentangle themselves on their own. No intermediary need be appealed to.

Have you ever had a serious look at Buddhism?

    That's a lie. 😉

And how do you know that they are not sinful?

Do you mean for good or just for an instance?

Have you ever had a serious look at Buddhism?

I have never had the urge to do so, as I am fully satisfied with what I have. But I have read a lot of 'interesting' stuff about it.

I submit that your perceptions are filtered through a belief system that prevents you from understanding other ways of taking on the world. You seem to believe in sin as a tangible thing. A Buddhist might speak of suffering caused by thoughts which can be tamed, at which point the suffering ceases. One need not be a Buddhist to avoid being tangled up in this way.

So are you going to answer my other questions or is this just a red-herring?

Btw: Buddhism actually is simply a form of humanism by which you get to become god...

I've already answered your questions. Learn to read, especially between the lines.

As for your comment about Buddhism, I can only say this.

Are you a Buddhist? I'm sorry if I offended you...

I hope you also read between the lines. 😉

I somehow don't think so. What are you, BdN? Don't you know? Is it a private matter?

    Well-meaning little therapists
    Goose-stepping twelve-stepping Tetotalitarianists
The tipsy, the reeling and the drop down pissed
We got no time for that stuff here
    Zero crime and no fear
We've bred all our kittens white
So you can see them in the night
And at night we're on our knees
    As quiet as a mouse
    Since the word got out
From the North down to the South
    For no-one's left in doubt
    There's no fear about
If we all hold hands and very quietly shout
    Hallelujah
    God is in the house
    God is in the house
Oh I wish He would come out
    God is in the house
