What do you mean by 'world'?

Because the answer might be different if you are talking about [for example] "human society" or
"The rock on which we spin through space".

If by "world" you mean people, mankind, your nation, family, friends, neighbourhood, then I think the world "owes" its young ~ babies, infants, youth ~ a range of things, most of which are summed up and laid out pretty well in the United Nations' ' Convention on the Rights of the Child'.

The world has been stealing from my country (and therefore me) for many many years. Yes, it owes me.

Pick one I'm not interested in limiting your choices or views.

Then no, the lump of rock I am standing on doesn't owe me anything, the question is stupid.

If your question is that open to interpretation it boarders on meaningless.

My father and I just had Allen Bozac as a guest in my father's home. If you do not know him he is a South African theologian.

The 'world' has given me life. It's arguably me that owes the world. (By that i mean an obligation to look after the world and the creatures that inhabit it).

On the flip side the 'world' spends most of it's time actively trying to kill you.

So it's probably a wash.
