If the aim is to have a discussion about how libertarianism requires totalitarianism (in reality, not theory) then it is about human nature, the human spirit, philosophy and the human condition, and so I'd say it'd be a good Spirituality Forum topic!

So what political party should a Christian vote?
Which party values the least of our society and understands that corporations follow Mammon?

Suzianne, do you see the Democratic Party as 'the lesser of two evils'?

Not if one of the hands has fallen off.

Because lying is not Christian.

"Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?" -- Matthew 7:16, KJV
How are they lying, though?

Are you literally saying that eveyr Libertarian is, by nature, lying about something...?

Libertarians, by definition, are (supposedly) concerned with Liberty. In reality, conservatives in general only care about liberty for their own tribe, and everyone else can just go pound sand.

That doesn't describe all of the Libertarians that I know...

I also think like... the irony here... is if they were to be concerned about the liberty of absolutely everyone else, that would imply that they need to go pound sand, e.g., be involved in foreign affairs and wars.

I think that the Libertarians are actually doing people a favor by having a narrow scope.
