Of the three sentences in your post, the final one demonstrates my point so perfectly. The stupid smiley at the end just accentuates it. Thank you.

Also, look up the word 'fatuous.' Consider how it applies to your post.

Are you joking? Time and time again you have announced your Christianity. Fine you have not done it here (yet) so are you honestly saying you have created this thread to prove that any god or gods exist?

And if that is the case and you are not attempting to promote your agenda (which I don't believe for one second) why is it so important to you to disprove the Atheist?
Because the fear of the Lord is the beginnig of wisdom. How can you fear God if you don't believe that He exists?

Well I guess this is some roundabout, psuedo spiritual answer to my question.

Because the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom

Nice. Interesting recruitment tactic....FEAR ME. If that's the case, I will remain "dumb", thanks.

How can you fear God if you don't believe that He exists?

First off, I never said I don't believe "He", "She" or "It" exists. I profoundly do not believe in your version of God. I will save you time by answering your predictable response of "it's not my version". I have friends who are Christian who are not as rabid with their beliefs as you are. I will save you additional time by answering your next predictable response of "well they are not real Christians".

But fine why do we need to "fear" him? I fear snakes and great white sharks. Do I need to worship them too?

The fact that you only seem to have a problem with Christianity speaks volumes. Why bother about a bunch of insane maniacs? Why not just ignore them?

I have issue with your warped interpretation of Christianity. Just like many of us who have issues with you, BF101, RBHILL and the like.

I believe KellyJay is a proud Christian (please correct me if I am wrong Kelly and I am sorry if I am using you as an example) but I have never noticed him or a great many other Christians here creating threads to attack Atheism or Agnosticism. As far as Christians go, I consider him pretty intelligent and maybe he agrees with you completely but at least he is considerate enough of others to not bade them in some mock debate.

Why bother about a bunch of insane maniacs?

You might ask yourself the same question but it doesn't stop you from regurgitating your tired old message, thread after thread after thread after thread. If you want to disprove Atheism or Agnosticism then you should come with adequate ammo and not just your Bible. As I have said, time and time again, I cannot and I am not interested in disproving that Jesus Christ is God. Just as I cannot disprove Buddha, Krishna, or Jerry Seinfeld. What you really don't get is that you can't do it either.

Amen.

(dj2) should come with adequate ammo and not just (his) Bible.

Double Amen.

What (dj2) really (doesn't) get is that (he) can't do it either.

Triple Amen.

Not really on-topic, but I am curious...

Dj2becker, do you believe that God breathed life into certain things on our planet, such that there is a clear dividing line between things that are living and things that are nonliving? Would you yourself always be able to reliably make that distinction at the microscope or at the Petri dish?

I appologise if my question 'have you seen the wind?' was too probing.

I did not mean to insult you or anybody else's beliefs. I was merely trying to get you thinking. Would you be so kind as to quote any words of mine that were insulting your beliefs, and if so then I appologise. It was not my intention to insult or disprove anybody's beliefs.

I suppose we do have freedom of speech though.

They have done so long ago.

I still suggest that you learn something about science before you run your suck about it, and that goes for religion too.

Did you publish your new book? I only read the cover though:

It was something like this: "From Goo to You by way of the Zoo."

You could change the first sentence of your book, though, it doesn't make sense.

"Nothing exploded and created everything"????

That isn't anywhere close to what I think happened so why

would I write it????????????

note>>>>>>>>>>> ^ I can use any many question marks as you can.

But even that "nothing exploded ,,,etc" makes more sense than a stolen Chaldean Myth and a religion about a "Good" creator that spends the next few thousand years killing off his creations because they don't kiss his non-existent butt. And finally settles down in the happy contentment of contemplating burning most of them in hellfire.

You almost make me wish I was an atheist, but then that's only because you are so full of the Error, you are also full of crap.
