I think we are up against a dysfunctionally simplex theory here. It's frozen in a stone age world view and that's all there is to it.
    It's a shame really.

You seem to have some blinders on here, a “...dysfunctionally
simplex theory?" It is within the realm of possible explanations,
be it because God did it or not.

Having a view based on modern speculation can be just wrong
too, and just as frozen as a view that would keep you from seeing
something else that may be true. One of the main troubles with
stuff like this is our "frozen" world views, we see what we want or
expect to see. Its like the old saying, “you look for devils you’ll
find them, if they are there or not.” It is also like a child being
born, the two families will both look at the child and have the
mother’s family says, “Oh, she looks like mom” while the father’s
family may say, “Oh, she has her dad in her,” because they are
used to seeing their own family member, so they recognized what
they are used to. You become used to looking for evolutionary
rational for life, you see it if it is there or not.

There are other possible explanations, Kelly, the bible god as described in the OT, having been borrowed from the earlier Sumerian civilization , just isn't one of them.

Yea, I'm quite sure we could come up with several different
possible explanations and many do not require God or aliens.
I do not believe that OT was borrowed from Sumerian civilization,
but that isn't the issue here. As I was attempting to show you
and others, that evolution may not be what you think it is as far
as all life coming from a single cell or some other singular early
    life form.
