@secondsonsaid One enters this forum and speaks their mind and is lambasted for it. That's a consequence of posting in here. And as is most often the case, if one says that Jesus is the only way, they are ridiculed for it.
@secondsonsaid Jesus is a good example. The ultimate example. He spoke the truth and was murdered for it. People are murdered for believing in Jesus.Of course people are murdered for nothing too.
People get murdered for being Jews, for being Hindus, for being Muslims and for being atheists too. And for nothing, as you say. Personally, I think the little evidence that exists indicates that Jesus was executed by the Romans for sedition and I don't see how the word "murdered" applies to him.
@secondsonsaid You do realize that "suffer the consequences" is an idiom don't you?
The only "consequences" I see here are the debates and discussions that result from people sharing their perspectives. I don't see how the word "suffer" applies. You are trying to analogize this to "murder" for telling "the truth". I don't see the value of such hyperbole.
@suziannesaid It's the "Calling out..." ones I don't like.
Why does anyone need a separate thread to call people out? Attention-seeking gits, that's who.
Sometime the focus is on the poster so multiple issues can be addressed at once. I rarely call people out. Of late there have been 2. I'm fairly sure I didn't come up with the idea of calling others out, so why hound me for it?
@secondsonsaid The Ghost is one of the soundest thinking members of this forum.
Sure, he and I are worlds apart relative to the concept of the origin of life, but still he is open to objective discussion.
Unlike most here who seem to relish in the art of assault. Like this thread of yours for example.
I know, he has a fine brain. Erudite and funny. He is probably far more intelligent than I, but if he thinks he can carry on pestering me on these boards then I'n here to tell him, feel free to do it to someone else, but keep clear of me
