What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his soul?

In a book called "Voices From the Edge of Eternity" someone collected some notable quotes of people who were about to die. Only one I can never forget of a wealthy queen of England who said on her death bed -

"All my possessions for a moment of time."
