Am I obliged to answer all your questions with the seriousness of a POW like Twithead the sullen psychopath there?
You people need some help. Seek God! He'll free your soul from whatever bondage is afflicting you.

If you don't care about whether the story happened or not then fine, just thought it would be more meaningful if the story was true.
Then there's music. Is Bach 'true'?

In some cases yes. Meaning is sometimes contextual.
In this case a fictional example of how god answers prayers is meaningless.

True in that it exists.

So it's as true as Bach.
Something being a true story means that the contents of the story actually happened. In that respect the story he posted is not true at all.
This is becoming somewhat of a question of semantics rather than anything meaningful though.

Only in the meaning that it exists.

Doesn't satire have its own brand of truth?
I should think that semantics and meaning are very closely related ...

Satire can definitely have a message and that message can be true, false or a mixture of both.
Originally posted by PsychoPawnListening to Bach, for me, is more like drinking whiskey than, say, reading a book.

So is the OP false, true, or a mixture of both?
