It's arbitrary from a epistemiological standpoint. Certainly xians have been responsible for all sorts of cruelty in the name of their god and their religion. A lot of religions have been that way. I am likewise repulsed by their bloodthirst.

The bottom line is people do cruel things one to another, sometimes
in the name of something good.

Now I, being a True Xian, cannot ever do anything heinous or terrible. All other xians flash between true and false depending on their behavior at a given moment in time.

Just because something is a concept doesn't mean that that is all it is. Atomic fusion is a concept/theory but it's also a reality. So god is a concept , so what?

And there's emperical evidence for the 'concepts' you mentioned, whereas there is no empirical evidence for god , just a history of belief.
