I beg to differ a little on just one point it isn't Christians it is people,
some happen to use their professed faith as a weapon upon others.
The bottom line is people do cruel things one to another, sometimes
in the name of something good.

Definitely. And sometimes those people are Christians and sometimes they have another faith. Sometimes, they profess no faith at all. All Christians are people. People make mistakes, sometimes terrible ones. Therefore Christians make mistakes, sometimes terrible ones.
Now I, being a True Xian, cannot ever do anything heinous or terrible. All other xians flash between true and false depending on their behavior at a given moment in time.

I do lump all people in that "they can do terrible things one to
another" I do not excuse anyone no matter what they call themselves.
I also don't call people who do terrible things people who do them
by mistake, more times than not they know just what it is they are
doing. The word 'mistake' only comes into play if they get caught a
lot of the time.

So what!?? If you agree that god is a concept then you agree that a concept can be faulty, as you utilised science then you're aware of the fact that todays scientific truth is tommorrows scientific lie...... Concepts are not truths!

So you think atomic fusion is a lie ? How about gravity? Evolution, is that a lie just because it's a concept? Quantum physics? God being a concept doesn't make it a lie.

When something is a concept there is a strong possibility that it could be wrong, just as it could be right...
And there's emperical evidence for the 'concepts' you mentioned, whereas there is no empirical evidence for god , just a history of belief.
