God is more important? Or is humanity more important?

If a guy gets falsely accused and sentenced of a crime, goes to prison, gets beat up and anally raped, doesn't seem like he's so important to God. Nor does that sound like the perfect will of God.

We need to get real with this, and look at real life. God's absence in human affairs is serious.
