@secondson saidDo you think using terms that are derogatory to women to insult men in order to "demean [their] manhood" relects well on your own "manhood"?
As to why men "feel the need" to use words derogatory toward women when insulting each other I don't really know. It is most likely a cultural thing passed down through the ages as a means of demeaning the manhood of a man that behaves as less than a man, especially in the arena of battle. It's effective. It's between men, and not necessarily intended to deride women.
@secondson said"A cultural thing passed down through the ages"? You seem to be saying you do it because you can't help yourself.

@secondson saidWell it's moot now, I think, as she has asked you - kindly and respectfully - to refrain from doing it.
In fact I think I'll do it regularly just to get under your silly effeminate skin
@ghost-of-a-duke saidIt really doesn't. The world is changing. There used to be distinctions. The lines are blurred. Now our women are being made combat ready.
It really shouldn't.
Do you know what the fastest growing demographic of porn users is? Don't see the relevance?
I have nothing to be ashamed of. I don't argue with women.
@deepthought saidI prefer to see myself as having a low center of gravity. I don't tip over as easy and don't have that far to fall.
I'm imagining it's because he's nasty and short as well.
@secondson saidPerhaps a good place to start sir is not to describe women as 'our women.' (Kind of implies ownership).

Some changes are for the better. What is wrong with equality? (In all things).
@ghost-of-a-duke saidImplications aside sir, I won't get hung up on semantics.

Nothing's wrong with equality. "All things" are not equal.
