@secondson saidThere is certainly parity between the sexes.
Implications aside sir, I won't get hung up on semantics.
Nothing's wrong with equality. "All things" are not equal.
@divegeester
11) I've envisage you as being a dumpy sort of guy, projecting your persona of spiritual muscularity, a driver possibly of public transport with your keys dangling on one of those belt clips, maybe even a chain of sorts."
12) "Do share your research".
13) "You seem to be channelling robbie carrobie here"
14) "Without you misrepresentation of scripture your thread title and OP have no thrust.
You may as well have just said "the bible is the most printed book in the world" which would have been more technically correct than using "published" and wouldn't have made you appear to be a twister of scripture.
Are you going to call me another name now or will you again tell me you love me with your Christian brotherly love?"
15) "Don't be such a pompous virtue-signalling male-chauvinist dick.
Treat women as equals; debate and argue with them as you would anyone. I'm frequently crossing swords with Suzianne and Drewnogal and they enjoy the banter and cut and trust as much as anyone else here."

I didn't misrepresent scripture. I quoted Mark 13:10. You misrepresented the inferences of the OP by bickerbitching through the entire thread with unsubstantiated assertions simply because you don't have the intellectual integrity to speak to the assertions made and address the topic.
What you can't deny is the fact that the Bible has been "published", so you laid hold on a word and tried to gain traction with it as a means of detracting away from the truth of the OP.
The truth is the Bible has always been "published", either by scribes or printing press, more, by at least double, than any 10 books written by man combined.
I'm right, and that obviously frustrates the hell out of you.
You have no argument. Just divisive bickerbitching spam posting.
@secondson saidFavorite sweets are probably bickerbitch allsorts. Best thing to come of Sheffield though.

-Removed-The Authorized King James Version does have it as published [1]. The New International Version has it as preached [2]. BibleHub gives Young's literal translation [3]:
and to all the nations it behoveth first that the good news be proclaimed.
BibleHub gives the Greek as [4]:
καὶ εἰς πάντα τὰ ethnē ἔθνη prōton πρῶτον δεῖ κηρυχθῆναι τὸ εὐαγγέλιον.
And the relevant word here is "κηρυχθῆναι" which they give the definition: To proclaim, herald, preach. Of uncertain affinity; to herald, especially divine truth [5].
I tend to believe Strong, so "proclaim" is probably the best translation. The translation as "publish" seems to be a peculiarity of the King James' version, but I think publish is reasonable enough since publishing a newspaper fulfills the same purpose as a herald did before printing was invented.

@secondson saidIn every way. (And yes, I am aware of differences in factors like physical strength). There is certainly parity when it comes to such issues as being fit for combat etc.
In what way(s)?
@ghost-of-a-duke saidIMO, parity denotes equal value, rather than sameness. The problems arise when parity is not recognized or acknowledged, whether by expression or access to opportunity.
