What was in your opinion/s the very first obstacle against God and all He wanted to do ?
@sonship saidDeciding whether or not he was going to be omnipotent.
What was in your opinion/s the very first obstacle against God and all He wanted to do ?
@sonship saidDisobedience. Satan came into the picture and told Adam and Eve that they dont really have to obey God, as there are no consequences for disobedience. You are on the same mission.

@rajk999 saidThe decision on omnipotence would have come before that.

@sonship saidThe answer to this surely depends on which religion one subscribes to, if any.
What was in your opinion/s the very first obstacle against God and all He wanted to do ?
@divegeester saidI think sonship is referring to obstacles to Gods plan for planet Earth and humans. Omnipotence would have been established billions of years prior, and would not have been an obstacle for God on this planet, in my opinion.
The decision on omnipotence would have come before that.
@sonship saidThere is no "obstacle" that can be formed against God.
What was in your opinion/s the very first obstacle against God and all He wanted to do ?
@secondson saidIf there is no obstacle against God then there would be no fall of man, no flood, no need to confuse the language of the people when they built the Tower of Babel, no destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
There is no "obstacle" that can be formed against God.
Then there is this Truth: prior to Satan raising up his will against the will of God, everything God had created was "very good".
@sonship saidwhy would an all powerful god need worry about anything?
What was in your opinion/s the very first obstacle against God and all He wanted to do ?
@rajk999 saidThere are no obstacles that can be formed that can withstand God.

@secondson saidYou need to check the meaning of the word obstacle
There are no obstacles that can be formed that can withstand God.
There's just no such thing. The idea is anti-biblical. There is no evidence anywhere that an obstacle exists that can stand against God.
Some of you need to rephrase your argument.

why would an all powerful god need worry about anything?
everything is as he wants it to be
unless......
@lemondrop saidEverything is in fact as God wants it to be.

@rajk999 saidYou need to admit defeat.
