Well, I rather don't mind GoaD. He's not exactly like most of the other atheists in this forum. He doesn't foam at the mouth and he's actually got a sense of humor.

Well, he is a new atheist here, so I would not be so quick to think he is really any different than the rest of them.

The thread title says "Good works not rewarded" (bold mine).

There's your problem, this wasn't a "good" work, it was a lazy (edit: not really lazy, just cheap) one. And thin. Very thin. 🙂
It was still funny🙂

Newsflash -- Atheists don't believe in God. So it's not like they're ever going to say anything insightful or respectful about God.

So I think it's more like you just take from them what you can get. I'm not exactly looking to them for any earthshaking new insights vis a vis worship or admiration. I look more to people like you and Joseph for that. I ...[text shortened]... don't look for fishing advice from people who don't believe fish exist.

Matthew 7:16 applies.
Not quite. Atheists don't believe there IS a god. That is a bit different in not believing in god. Saying you don't believe still leaves open the idea that you may think there is a god but you just refuse to believe it.

Ah, you must mean the part where atheists actually can think for themselves, not pre programmed into religion from the age of one.

maybe a room full of mirrors would be more to your liking, you can go and preach to the converted in long rambling monologues until your heart is content!
Maybe I get bored with arguing about who Cain married or whether God can make a rock too heavy for Him to lift.

Dialogues with you have been none too profitable as you are unable to justify Jehovah's Witness teachings on several levels when dialogued with.

Eh, it's a pretty fine distinction, there, but I get your point.

How is it related to the overall topic of Spirituality

But all your posts are jokes. What is the problem?

And atheists are always surprisingly among the first to begin quoting scripture. .
That's because they know it better than most theists.
