He says he is glad he can say that without starting an inquisition.

The worst atheists are the ones who used to be theists.

Seems a reasonable response. It is in line with Ockham's Razor that insists we should not invent new entities to explain things unless absolutely necessary. Do we need to hypothesise a god to explain the universe or its workings? As Laplace said "I have no need of the god hypothesis".

Because God has already been declared, there is no reason to do any hypothesis about His existence, unless we are not happy with that one that is declared in the Holy Bible and wish to hypothesis about the possibliity of a different god or gods.

I prefer no god or gods. I find deities only get in the way of understanding.

What deities do you believe have gotten in the way of your understanding?

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

(Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV)

The worst theists are the judgmental ones. Or maybe the ones who make sweeping generalisations.

Here is a man who cannot walk or talk or prevent himself drooling...........and cannot tell anyone why he suffers such.

And he is going to tell us how "this cosmos and our existence" came about.

He knows how the cosmos came to be!...... but does not know how he came to be.

Science cannot even create a single living cell................but random chance did and everything else.

This is called illusion and arrogance to the highest degree.

Here is a man who cannot clean his own backside and wants to tell us all how the cosmos came into existence without any help from an intelligent source.

He says the cosmos and life just popped into existence, and now there is abundant versified self conscious life that reproduces itself .......with hundreds of thousands of fruits and vegetables and grains and flowers and trees etc.........fresh water from the sky- beautiful landscapes- a sun that keeps us alive - exact physical laws and principles and every imaginable resource to make the many things we desire necessary or not.

This absurdity that the foundation of the cosmos and life randomly comes from nothing and an unintelligent source can only come from a foolish dishonest atheist who cannot see past his ego.

Presumably you are referring to his motor neurone disease?

If calling for the genocide of all Muslim men as well as calling them all rapists was not enough, we now have the mocking of man crippled by a terminal disease to add to Dasa's portfolio.

i like dasa's connection between bottom wiping and intelligence. id like to see it become mandatory in all university applications. oxford and cambridge would no longer look at a'level results but the quality of an individuals bum wiping.

Understand this.
Not everything in life and in the universe is governed by what you prefer.

And for all that, he still comes across as a more godly person than you.
