I think if one of you has even one hit, then you would be the Ty Cobb of the group.
What about ex-professionals turned steriod-exposing, satirical sports columnist? I had a few RBI's (reprobates batted in) on the mission field.

What do you think Jesus Christ's actual batting average would be if he played in the MLB? How about Satan? How much would a Moses rookie card be worth? Would each pack come with a slice of eucharist?

I think you're on to something here, but you can't only consider offensive stats , flelding tough questions and errors in dogma should also be considered. not to mention the Range Factor.

You might need to create a new branch of statistics,, call it Darvley's Biblemetrics.

If there are many of you out the ...[text shortened]... rend or Pastor. I'm still trying to figure out what to equate backsliders as, so bear with me.
Winning souls is wise, but what does it matter if people say yes to you
or not? Isn't the important thing simply being faithful to God and
obeying Him so that He can use you to water, or plant, or if you are
blessed harvest? If you get caught up in the "winning the souls" you
may allow others who need to be watered to die of thirst, or if you
need to plant you may leave a heart without the seed being left. If
you have anything other than being faithful as a goal you are not
following the Spirit of God, but performing a part which may not
do anything that will remain ever lasting.

I thought this would be about cricket, where a heavenly batting average would be, say, 80. Hey, 110, why not. All this talk of .2 is making me queasy.

Since I don't like the idea of quota's of getting people to make a
statement yes I guess, zero. The important parts of life isn't
measured that way.

Did not say you thought it was important, I said I did not like the
idea, and that I believe there are more important things in life
than what you gleaning.

Matt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost

Matt 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits.

Or to paraphrase, "Ye shall know them by their batting average".
