Do you really not understand what it means for someone's beliefs to change? If we go back 20 years, the reality in my life at that time was that I believed that "God was in [my] life though Jesus Christ" just as you believe that 'God is in your life though Jesus Christ' now.
I believe they change, yes, but do you now deny Jesus Christ is the Son of
God and is the only way to God? Do you now deny that through Jesus
Christ is the only way to God, and no one comes to God except though Him?
Do you now deny what you once believed is not true, not suggesting you
didn't at one time make the claim, but when you did you were in error?
It is either true now or it never was, your beliefs can change, but reality
does not.

Frankly don't care!
Did you have Jesus Christ in your life yes or no, if yes, why deny Him, if no,
then what you had back then was not real.

I believed that I did, yes. Just as you believe you have Him in your life.

Well I am an ex-Christian, if that's what you are getting at. I have never made any secret of being an ex-Christian. I have been open about it throughout. I do not believe the claims you make about Jesus but I used to.

How am I a liar? I have been completely honest ~ and candid ~ at every stage of this conversation and every other conversation we have had.

At what age were you baptized and in which denomination?

The trouble I think you and I are having is when you say, "I believed
that I did..." I take that to mean, I thought I did, but did not. Which means
you didn't have Him in your life. You don't have Him now, and are willing
to make that known to everyone. So the state you once 'believed' wasn't
real, what is real is what you have now, and even though you believed in
it before you really didn't have it.

You have said you had a relationship with God, you believed you had one.
You now know that was not true, so what you had before wasn't real.
You still profess to have had a real one, when in fact you never really did.

How am I a liar, though? I am not used to you being vituperative.

It was real to me at that time, in the same way as it is real to you now.
