I wonder how many are still reading this thread and wonder where we are going as a species when these supposed followers of Jesus can pile on the hate like this.
How will we (Americans) move on as a nation when everything, even what should be base motivations are drenched in such hate, lying and punishment driven by 'they don't agree with me, they must be punished'. This is not what Jesus taught at all. Yet they persist in their fantasies that they are doing the work of God.

I don't know. There might have been some diversions or matters of timing that might have protected me, that would have been impossible for me to notice.
I am not a believer in any of the Abrahamic faiths of Earth, but I do appreciate that the Cosmos and I have occurred.
I know that many believe "everything happens for a reason" -- but it seems many such people seem to believe there is some kind of intentional or narrative reason involved that aligns with some surmises of locally propagated faith systems or in some cases the developing models of their own idiosyncratic faith-quests (the latter of which I would respect more than the former).
