@Suzianne saidSimilar to how I used to read printed magazines, it seems I am reading this thread back-to-front. I'll start over from the beginning and maybe get back to you about that. 😉
I wonder how many are still reading this thread and wonder where we are going as a species when these supposed followers of Jesus can pile on the hate like this.
@Suzianne saidWow! Do you understand how fascist or at least anti-liberty you came off in that post?
My comment about Seitse was pointedly to him, not you.
He knows what I meant. You, apparently, do not.
You have to understand. I've known literally hundreds of LGBTQ+ people. None of them have shown your penchant for discussing their fears flippantly the way you have. I've protected and defended my people since I've become an adult. Most are thankful, and yet you ...[text shortened]... thing but some sort of manufactured contempt for my efforts.
So, with all due respect, screw you.
On my side, I have learned not to report such vicious, attacking posts -- because that really only benefits the attacker.
So I'm just going to reply to your post and let it ride while giving it a little bump.

@Suzianne saidI get along with plenty of other people, here and elsewhere.
I have no idea what you are talking about.
I don't know if you've ever trusted anyone, anywhere, but you've clearly assigned me some sort of little box where you put all the people who you think have done you wrong.
Your sorting machine is deeply flawed.
You talk a lot of sh-- that isn't backed up by what you DO, or even how you feel. Apparently you feel so abused ...[text shortened]... ment".
And because of that, I'm done giving you anything, because you clearly appreciate nothing.
If eventually you ever do happen to see things another way, please don't feel embarrassed on my account. I guess I should just assume that you are still working through some stuff on your side that might cloud your view of "me" and "my intentions".
If you have been playing with me -- then that has been some rather rough "play" and I should mention that I prefer direct and sincere interaction where friendly joshing or ribbing (if any) would be obvious.
However -- sorry to say -- you haven't seemed friendly to me in recent times.
P.S. -- I'm not willing to conform myself to whatever Procrustian mental boxes you carry around in your head.
@Suzianne saidBTW, this is another post of yours that I'm just going to bump instead of reporting it, so that the personal attacks remain in view for everyone else to see.

@Indonesia-Phil saidI think maybe some combo of Deism, Darwinism, and happenstance might be involved in all our lives (from my admittedly limited point of view).
So what, then, is the reason for your existence, do you think? So that some non - existent 'Lord' can keep on saving you? About time you took some responsibility for your own 'existence' don't you think?
On my side, I think it could very well be that some or THE Cosmic Intelligence set up the "magic crystal tank" (so to speak) and set it going just to set what variety of things might happen, etc.
In some or many cases, the combo of temperament and circumstances might not allow for more of a successful life before this or that person croaks.
As for whether sentience, pain, and suffering were inherent properties of the Cosmos rather than emergent ones, it seems I'm not in a position to know conclusively.
I imagine one possibility is that the emergence of sentient, self-aware, questioning, suffering, and screaming beings throughout the Cosmos might have taught the original Cosmic Intelligence something about compassion, pity, kindness, and consideration that It might not have understood earlier.
@moonbus saidAnd here I thought Christians believed that wearing The Cross outside of their clothing so that others can see it is the path to political success and domination.
Christians believe that there is a fork in the road at the gateway to eternity, and that those whom Jesus does not protect are doomed to take the path which leads to a lake of a fire. That is the only one that matters.
@mike69 saidYou circle around me almost as embarrassingly as Kevin does.
Yep sue try reading my reasons and videos I posted to you and responding. Then ask where we’re going as a nation. These things don’t have to be solved with violence, that’s your parties solution. If it does you brought it on yourselves with all the stupidity listed and shown and pushing for more and more as time goes. Try answering and let’s discuss-it like adults and not ...[text shortened]... instead of living together that may not be many more years away. You talk tough now you ain’t sht.
