Born into poverty with alcoholic parents which caused a shyt life which caused many bad decisions...

Enough about me...What about them?

The kids born to die as kids.
The kids born with diseases.

What about natural disasters?

I saw a comedy western once and a girl said "what is Parkinson's?"

The reply was..."just another way for God to show us he loves us"

So where is this God Power?

Not on this planet.

You are looking at what, a fallen world with fallen people? Where is the answer going to be found, in the fallen? You know what should be the way of life should be lived, where do you suppose that knowledge comes from?

So we seem to agree that the God figure you believe exists has not undertaken to prevent "horrible things" from happening. Maybe that's the explanation you should offer to Contentchess.

Well matter did not create itself so there must be a higher power of some sort.

I just don't think he/she/it... cares about biological life.

We step on ants without a care in the world.
