A few weeks ago, I was having a casual conversation with some online friends about theology. Specifically, we were discussing the greatly differing views of heaven. We did a fun little easter egg hunt type exercise, with each of us posting a URL that we felt reflected our views of what heaven would be like, or atleast what we hoped it would be like.
Within this circle of people, there is a bright young lad who has no belief system he adheres to, but he believes in a greater power and an afterlife.
About a week after the question was asked, he posted this:

Now, what I am trying to figure out is if this is a healthy perception or not? Lol!

Originally posted by stockenThat's the point precisely. I don't get this guys perception of heaven (though obviously he is trying to be funny). I don't get checkbaiters perception of heaven. I don't get a lot of peoples perception of heaven. Likewise, I am sure they don't get my perception of heaven. We all have our own notions of what heaven is like (assuming we believe in such a place) our would be like (for those of us who don't).

A Glimpse At Heaven
Be dismayed not--a better world is approaching.
After Armageddon--perfect peace and justice reigns.
No more will there be pain and suffering.
Poverty and violence will be unknown.
Tremendous joy will be the norm.
An enchanting and wonderful kingdom will be our abode.
Love for one another will be the rule.
Harmony among the races will prevail.
Like Jesus our Messiah, glorified--immortal bodies we will possess.
Free of sin we will be--no sin enters Heaven.
What a spectacular sight--this Heavenly Kingdom!
Buildings and streets made of pure gold.
High walls and foundations composed of jewels of all kinds.
Pollution free rivers shine like crystal.
Grass so richly green--bright colored flowers abound.
Doubt not--biblical prophecy is never wrong.
To enter God’s Heavenly Kingdom--one must qualify.
With sincerity have faith only in Jesus the Messiah--
The gift of Salvation you will receive.
Don’t lose out--make sure you are Heaven bound.

I'd say he has no ideas at all. If this were even approaching what he really thought about heaven, then he probably has some sort of chemical imbalance of the brain.
It was an interesting exercise. Was there any other links that were interesting?
